Starck’s Juicy Salif – the juiciest juicer around

Philippe Starck designed this squid-like lemon juicer in 1990 for Alessi. It straddles the line of kitchen tool and modern sculpture.

While it may look delicate and impractical, it actually works pretty well. You simply place a glass under the body and squeeze your lemon and watch the juice drip into the glass. It does help to place the juicer and glass onto a towel or non-slip surface.
